New Year’s Eve is celebrated on December 31, the last day of the year.

New Year is the time to say “Good-Bye” to the year gone-by leaving different memories.

And say “Hello and welcome” to the year ahead with lots of hope and joy with the wonderful journey.

It is celebrated all over the world irrespective of the country, culture, and religion.

In many countries, people gather on the road, celebrate and countdown until it is 12:00 o’clock at night to welcome the New Year.

This party idea countdown is all about ringing in the good times with the kiddos.

So why should adults have all the fun?

This year, plan a great New Year’s Eve party for the little ones too!

Of course, if the kids can’t stay up till 12, that’s perfectly okay, just have the party for 12 noon!!

1.Think of the location:

Before you can start planning the party, you will need to think of a location to have it in.

You’ll need to find a space that you can easily access and that has enough space for everyone you’re thinking of inviting.

  • You can host the party at your home. This can help cut down on costs.
  • Try asking a friend to co-host the party in their home if they have space.

2.New Year Invitation:

Planning any celebration begins with inviting friends and families to make your party a success.

Make sure to invite people much before the due date.

As you may end up knowing that they have already committed to some other plan.

Using your creativity you may design the invitation all by yourself.

You might like sending online invitations.

3.New Year Decorations:



 

  • You may place some floating candles as well in a big container/bowl.
  • Long-stemmed flowers/bouquets can be placed as centerpieces on dinner tables and used to decorate the entrance or stage.
  • You may want to use props like floral Pom-Poms, Bubble Wrap Runner, Shimmering Streamers and Party Banner as well.
  • Hang a large cardboard horseshoe on the door.
  • Horseshoes mean good luck, but they must be hung the right way (i.e. like a cup) or the luck will fall out.

There are lots of games but the famous New Year game is ‘The Resolution Game’!

If the game is being played in a small group where all guests know each other, here is how it can be played –

Everybody writes their New Year’s resolution on a sheet of paper and drops in the Resolution box.

One by one each guest will be asked to pick up one of the chits and guess who wrote the resolution they picked.
