This will also give you a chance to ask questions, like the all-important “What’s my Due Date?”

In Shinningyou I will share you About-First Child For the Pregnant Women.

Birth is a three-legged stool, a healthy mom, a healthy baby, and a healthy birth. Without ANY one leg, it is equally unstable!

Then prepare for First Child, Follow 15 steps and get ready for Mother.

1.what to do when labor starts:

First Child

Long before the first contractions hit and you’ll want a firm plan in place about -who to call, where to go, and when to leave?

And decide who will accompany you, and have a few back-ups just in case.

Plan the proper route you’ll take ahead of time, including where to park.

You can get a better handle on these logistics by taking a tour of your hospital or birth center.

2. Pick a pediatrician:

If you don’t have a pediatrician for older children, it might be a good time to look for an expert pediatrician.

Ask friends and look online at websites and see if your hospital has contracts with any local offices.

It’s much easier to have this done before for your baby because you don’t want to be at the hospital holding your perfect little baby.

And have a minor panic attack when the nurse asks you about- your baby’s pediatrician is and how soon you need to schedule your first appointment.

Take an appointment without worrying about if you are calling a good one.

Some pediatricians are actually good.

And will let you come meet with them while you are pregnant for a kind of “meet and greet” appointment.

So it’s definitely worth looking into and You also don’t want to get to your first appointment.

Find out if your doctor is not very friendly.

And don’t have patience with your many questions from your first week home then change him immediately.

3. Who will attend the birth:

This is a very personal decision and a great question?

Some moms like a full room, including their partner and friend or two, their mom.

Others prefer as few people present as possible and give some thought to what you want?

So that there are no misunderstandings and unwelcome observers, or offended grandmothers.

It can also be helpful to designate a “family spokesperson”.

Someone who can send emails and make phone calls to let everyone know the baby arrives.

Finally, remember that labor can be exhausting.

4. Do a test run to the hospital:

It is always a good idea to do a test run and see not only how long it takes you to get there.

But also to make sure you know exactly where to park and go once you get there.

I didn’t think the signs outside of our hospital were super clear and it was nice to go and make sure we knew where to park.

Then where to go in and what floor to go to and everything.

Because once you are in labor, you do not want to waste any extra time.

5.Invest in a nursing bra (or two):

If you decide you are going to nurse your little baby then you will want to get a few nursing bras.

You aren’t supposed to use underwire until you’ve been breastfeeding for three months.

I would definitely recommend getting at least one nursing bra because trying to put in a regular bra and moving it up all the time.

When you feed the baby is pretty tough and it’s just easier to have a fun nursing bra that clips.

And makes things easily and quickly accessible.

When the baby is screaming because he’s hungry too much.

You can, of course, do this after the baby is born, but it’s definitely nice to be able to bring them to the hospital.

6.Stock up on hand sanitizer:

My personal favorite place to shop in Bath and Body Works.

And they usually are having a sale on their little tiny sanitizers.

I always stock up on them and maybe it’s just the germaphobe in me.

It was really nice to always have some for people to use before they held him.

Especially right after he was born before he had any immunizations.

7.Draft your pre-baby budget:

First, understand how your income will be impacted in the coming months and have prepared a shopping list for your new addition.

You have to adjust your budget accordingly.

Babies come with plenty of expenses.

So set a limit on both necessary and optional buys like – designer diaper bag or high-end stroller with the LCD control panel.

8.Start or check your emergency fund:

If you don’t already have a “rainy day fund,”.

Then now’s the time to anticipate some emergency funds.

Kids are accident-prone.

So, calculate how much money to be required as a stock.

Having at least three to six months of living expenses covered is a great place to start.

The main focus, while you’re in the hospital, is to get a healthy baby.

But there are some loose ends that will need to be taken care of.

9.Start  Saving now-onwards:

Parents should aim to have at least 3-4 months’ income put aside for emergencies before their baby arrives.

Remember, you will have between seven and eight months of knowing you are pregnant to try to get this money together anyhow.

However, the habit of saving is more important than the amount already saved.

Even though if you start a low amount/ month, you can always raise it.

10. Buy some “in-between” clothes:

As much as you want to be skinny again after your baby is born, it will not happen immediately, it will take time.

And since you won’t be pregnant anymore, you will not want to wear your maternity clothes also.

It will definitely help your emotional state.

And without a large, round belly and the band on your maternity pants is all saggy and you feel dumb wearing them.

So before you have your baby, just get a pair or two of in-between pants.

It may be a few looser-fitting tops.

11.Pre-wash baby’s clothes:

Again, this is something you don’t have to do and which won’t be for everyone.

But the worrier in me wanted to make sure that all of Little J’s clothes would be perfect for him.

So, don’t hesitate, wash it properly and keep it in a bag.

12.Gather addresses:

If you decide you want to send out birth announcements.

It can be even more stressful to gather all the addresses and figure out who you want to send them to after the baby is born.

So do it before!

You can compile them all into a Word document with a label template and print them

while you are pregnant.

So once you get your announcements, you just have to put the sticky labels on the envelopes and send them away.

Plus if you work on it while you are pregnant you can have time to think about who you want to send them any message.

13.Get Serious About a Baby Name:

Some couples agree on names while they’re still dating and then there are those who still haven’t settled on a name two days after the baby birth.

Finding a name hasn’t come easily, the middle of the third trimester is the best time to sit down and hash it out and take time to decide.

Any earlier and you might suffer weeks of baby-name and any later and you might be negotiating a name in the recovery room.

Often held on the 11th day after birth, it is the first samskara, or sacrament, in a Hindu’s life.

Although the ceremony is common there can be some differences in how it is performed according to their culture.

14.Clean the House:

You won’t have much time to do housework when your baby arrives, then do earliest.

If you’re lucky then you do it systematically and fast.

Take advantage of it! Get the house cleaned properly and dust free and vacuumed also.

If you’re too tired then try to just do the basics, such as organizing your baby supplies.

Every little helps to make life with your newborn a bit easier and smoother.

15.Check your car & Install Baby seat:

If you plan to give birth in a hospital or birth center then the last thing you want is car trouble on the big day.

Get it checked over in advance, and make sure there’s always plenty of fuel in the tank and give for servicing.

If you’re bringing your baby home by car, practice installing the car seat also.

Birth is a rite of passage of women. Their journey should be honored, their rights should be fiercely protected, and their stories should be shared.
