In fact, they’re so real that their slow movements are consistent and recordable.

1. Jyotish Shastra

It is a study of heavenly cycles and cosmic events as they are reflected in our earthly environment and vice- versa — a vast cosmic clock.

Astrologers find the cosmic patterns revealed in the rhythmic motions of the planets a great help in shedding light on everyday life.

Today I will discuss  Astrology About Marriage:

2. Astrology About Marriage :

The significance of the 7th House is mainly regarding marriage.

It deals with all the aspects of marriage the likelihood of marriage, the time and even the no of marriages.

The number of benefices aspecting the Seventh Lord would be the number of marriage and Similarly, the Second House also is taken to show the number of marriages.

Sexual parts:

The Seventh House comprises the sexual parts of the Kaala Purusha therefore, any affrication to the Seventh House indicates a problem in the sexual area of the person.

Conjugal bliss:

Happiness in the marriage is revealed from the Seventh House as this is the House from which marriage is ascertained.

Malefic influences denote the lack of happiness between the marriage partners.

Conjugal happiness is attained from the fulfillment of physical pleasures also.

For this reason, the Twelfth House should have a connection with the Seventh House.

Marital harmony:

7th House

There is more to marriage than just the physical nature and it is the marriage of the mind too.

If the two partners cannot achieve harmony in their thinking then there can never be any happier and it will be totally devoid of happiness.

The predominance of the physical relation without mental and emotional in evolvement is not marriage in the true sense of the word.

In order that the person has a harmonious married life and the Seventh House should have benefit influences.

Seventh House is one of the least favored Kendras in a person’s horoscope.

Though it comes in the category of Kendras it does not to be a very good Kendra.

Kaletra Dosham:

Kaletra Dosham means the Dosha that is attached to one’s Kaletra or spouse and due to which one suffers from regards to one’s marriage.

This Dothan could take the form of:

  • No marriage
  • Or delay in marriage
  • Or that the marriage does not have a satisfactory level.
  • All these are revealed from the Karaka for marriage that is Venus, the Seventh House, the Seventh Lord and the Lagna lord of Navamsa also.

Any Kind of marital happiness and sexual compatibility has to be seen from Venus and one has to see the Twelfth Bhava from Venus, in order to find out the compatibility as far as sexual togetherness.

The Seventh Lord and the Seventh House should not be more powerful than the Lagna Lord, check it.

One will not be a very attractive person to others and will be known as a very timid person.

The Seventh Lord and the Seventh House should not have very little strength as compared to the Lagna Lord.

There should not be much disparity between the two and if it is so then one will not have a good understanding with others in life.

Considering this, the Lagna and the Seventh House, both should have an equal amount of strength and they should strike a good balance.

More or less should not have a great disparity between them and in order to have a happy married life and to have a very good public appearance.

Death and death associated matters can be analyzed from the Seventh Bhava also.

How a person conducts and behaves or interacts with the world at large or what could be one’s status or position in public or society to be assessed from the Seventh Bhava and the Seventh Lord.

3. Significance of the Seventh House:

The Seventh House being the opposite House from the Lagna deals with one’s spouse and marriage and death.

The three most important aspects of one’s life.

Besides this, it signifies the various aspects related to these.

Spouse:

7 th house  - Jtotish Shastra

7 th house  – Jtotish Shastra     https://shinningyou.in

It is the House of partnership and marriage.

Marriage:

The Seventh House tells what Kind of marriage one will have and when it will take place and Malefic may even rule out chances of marriage.

Death:

Since the First House denotes the beginning of life the Seventh House which is directly opposite it, denotes death.

Nature of death:

Since death is foretold from the Seventh House and the type of death that the native is likely to have can also be seen from it.

Mrityu Tulya Kashta:

If the malefic influence is not very severe then instead of death then the person can experience death life trouble in other words, Mrityu Tulya Kashta.

Partnership:

Besides marriage, which is a lifelong partnership.

The Seventh House also deals with other partners and they may be in the nature of a person’s work or business.

Public appearance:

How one carries oneself is revealed by the First House and therefore the Seventh House shows the effect of the person’s behavior.

In other words, it reveals what others think about one and what Kind of image is.

Accidents:

Since the Seventh House is opposite the First House, any calamity to life can be seen from this house.

It may take the form of accidents when Mars is involved or a vehicular accident if Venus and Mars are both involved.

Satputras:

The best thing that the Seventh House discloses is the blessing and one can have in the guise of a good progeny or Satputra.

Benefices in the Seventh House promise the fulfillment of the desire which each person has close to his heart.

Foreign travels:

Travel to a foreign land is apparent from the Seventh House also.

It may be for a short period or for a long period, this depends on the Houses that are involved.

The Third House denotes the short journeys while the Ninth House promises a long journey.

Sookshma Karma Sthana:

The Seventh House is the Tenth House from the Tenth House, therefore it tells about the nature of the work.

It is the Sookhshma Sadhana as far as the work is concerned.

4. The effects of planets in the seventh house:

Sun:

However, wherever the sun goes will be illuminated and The Sun in the seventh person will put a lot of importance on relationships.

This may be good for a career, however, if the Sun is in the 7th house person could get an egoistic partner.

Other people, especially at younger ages will want to dominate you and poke at your inner weaknesses also.

Moon:

Moon in the seventh house shows a beautiful compromise with partners and others.

However, this is also a placement where maintaining healthy boundaries is greatly undermined and person will usually give too much and then feel victimized.

This person will certainly be popular, but always feel like they’re getting the short end of the stick.

For the Moon in 7th house person will find a pretty emotive and connective partner.

Rulers are very important and that is which is ought to be first to be looked at when assessing the 7 house.

Rulers for the most part show what is concretely happening to your houses without your direct impact.

While planets in the 7th houses just transmit their energy which is connected to things that planet represents.

Wherever Ruler resides in the House and he will swap stuff from the house he rules over to the house in which he resides.

Mars:

Mars in the seventh house will express excessive individuality, and likely always be trying to “improve”.

The nature of Mars is to destroy what is making us very weak.

“Destroying the weaknesses” in our partner is not what generally brings relationship happiness and  Similar to the Sun, this may be good for business and career.

Mars in the 7th house is no good.

Mars represents- sports, competition, physicality, battle, and war- etc.

This means in most cases conflicts, and possible physical fighting and constant competition.

In the case of Venera in the 7th house, it can also be a problem because that person would need other people to give them approval.

Mercury:

Mercury in the 7 th house shows very good communication with others.

However, for romantic relationships, this can be problematic, as the person will not want to be serious. Mercury likes enjoyment more than hard work, commitment and consistency.

Over time, as the person gains life experience, this could be quite beneficial for partnerships.

Jupiter:

Jupiter in the 7 th house makes a person optimistic and hopeful.

In business, this makes one aim  is high, but may also bring excessive idealism into business matters.

Jupiter is essentially a benevolent planet and represents growth, optimism, spirituality, philosophy, wisdom.

After all, there is also a problem, and that is the fact that Jupiter is losing direct strength and it happens that your knowledge depends on others.

Jupiter in the -1st house in his nature is the Teacher- where he represents you, when in 7th house, you’re a student, it represents others.

Venus:

Venus in the seventh house means the person will have a lot of romantic desires and longings.

This sort of “addicted to love” syndrome is definitely possible by this placement.

Saturn:

Saturn in the seventh gives healthy boundaries and the willingness to commit to good relationships.

Although it might not always feel good to the person and they will learn a lot in their romantic relationships.

There may be attraction to older partners or ones more mature in some way or another Or, they may be the elder later in life to a younger partner.

Saturn in the 7th house – marriage and stable/wage work shall become a necessity.

A stable and well-paid career for both partners would keep the marriage safe and long-lasting.

If the person is immature for marriage or younger than 30 this could lead to possible break-up due to that lack of stability.

In case you have Saturn in connection with 7th house, I’d recommend to everyone stepping into marriage pre-30 years.

For the most part, it won’t come too early marriage (30-36 years), unless planetary periods do not show up earlier.

Usually, spouses will be of different ages and more mature in this case.

Rahu:

Rahu in the seventh house shows a strong compulsion to be connected with others and there may be a sort of “chameleon-like” quality to the person’s nature.

Rahu in the seventh may attach himself to others and based on the undeveloped parts of themselves.

Rahu in the 7th house-a person shall never find a satisfactory love affair and relationship.

Ketu :

Ketu in the 7 th house tends to be very critical partnerships. and prefer the freedom to explore themselves.

Eventually, maturity shows these criticisms to be a projection of their own imperfections. and  will never find true harmony in marriage.

They will always produce drama over little- little -things and fight for something which is misunderstood.

Ketu is the 7th house, is the worst for marriage and would be advisable for people with Ketu in 7th house, be careful to select their partners and try living together before truly marrying.

So I am just writing this in abstract, general terms and you must know how to apply it to your specific situation.

For example -Ketu can bring a fitting spiritual and soul partner from last lives because Ketu represents past-Karma and Seventh house also deals with the darker side of our relationships, the partnerships we form.

Legal battles, divorce, quarrels, enmity, and fines also fall under the domain of this  7 th house.

Your reaction to these adversities influence your relationship with the person.

It governs several body parts including kidneys and lower parts.

5. Conclusion:

According to Shastras,  to be on the safer side, one should perform Shanti Karmas when the Dasha of the Seventh Lord or of any planet in the Seventh Houses comes.

These should be performed especially when the Seventh Lord’s Dasha will come. Otherwise, the Seventh Lord’s Dasha will not fructify fully and it is essential to perform Navgraha Shanti.

Langan is Udayaam, thus on that basis, the Seventh House is Astam.

For these reasons, the Seventh House is not considered to be a very pious Bhava as far as Lagna Bhava is a concern.

But the identity of the Seventh House when seen from the angle of the Seventh House itself -not considered bad.

As far as Lagna Bhava is concerned whatever one sees for the Lagna Bhava gets set in the Seventh House and for that purpose, it is not very good.

In other words, whatever is signified in the Lagna Bhava gets set in the Seventh House and from this point of view, the Seventh House is not considered good.

The Karaka planet for the Seventh House is Venus. Venus is the Karaka for the Seventh House of Kaala Purusha also, it also becomes a Karaka for a spouse.

Mind it-For a male the Karaka for a spouse is Venus and for females it is Jupiter.

Therefore, in a male’s horoscope, Venus placed in the Seventh house is not considered good as far as marital prospects are concerned.

But if it is placed in its own sign or in exaltation or being the Lagna Lord then it is placed in the Seventh House-is not considered very bad.

Though as a Lagna Lord in the Seventh House it promises delay in the marriage.

But if it is placed in own house or in exaltation sign then it does not amount to that much of Kaletra Dasha.
